
About Us - Essex and Union County Association of Psychologists (EUCAP)
The Essex and Union County Association of Psychologists (EUCAP) is the local affiliate of the New Jersey Psychological Association (NJPA). Our organization is open to all psychologists who live or work in Essex and Union counties, although membership is not limited to these counties.
What We Do
EUCAP holds monthly meetings featuring guest speakers who present on current topics related to the science and practice of psychology. These events also provide valuable networking opportunities. Meetings are open to allied professionals as well.


Mission
Our mission is to advance psychology as a science, as a profession, and as a means of promoting human welfare. We are committed to fostering professional and social connections among psychologists and between psychologists and other professional groups. Additionally, we strive to provide information about the science and practice of psychology to both our members and the public.
Vision
Our vision is to be recognized by both the public and mental health professionals as the primary resource for psychologists and consumers in Essex and Union counties.

Membership
EUCAP offers various membership categories:
Members live or work in Essex and Union County to be a member, and all members may attend meetings, be included in our in-house directory, and participate in committees. NJPA members have additional benefits, including eligibility to hold office, chair committees, and have a listing in a public-facing directory.
